I think this song is explain the Mia's issue. Her mother, her father, her brother dead but she have to find a way let go. But they were her family and she can't forget them easily. And everything can change in a second. You can't control what will be happen. And Mia can't control too. she had everythingt but her family death become to overwhelming and now she is a girl which is sad and can't enjoy the life. Now she need to make some decision.
